Definitely the best attempt in terms of showing off engineering mindset! Appreciate the quality of the work! With great power comes great responsibility, lets end the feedback section with this quote. :)

Final remarks (excerpt):

The prototypes functionality was clearly demonstrated in a video, and it operated in real time for the most part: excellent work! The servo-driven mechanism reliably controlled the barrier. The iPorts lighting effectively indicated states such as granting access, and the display showed appropriate status messages. Consider adding sound effects to provide auditory feedback as well. (Or added but did not demonstrate / mention it well?)
